I’m Ashley. I’m a freelance travel writer—and I've spent the last 15 years writing about the world.
My work lives at the intersection of travel, hospitality, sustainability, and culture— and moves with flexibility between editorial features, native and branded campaigns, thought leadership, and email and newsletter strategy.
I've written on various destinations for publications and clients, crafting stories that leave an impact across space and time. My branded and sponsored content projects have included work with Afar Magazine and Vox Media, with a particular focus on Switzerland, Spain, California, and sustainability. Switzerland is where I live— which means when I write about it, I'm writing from a first-hand and local perspective. I know the trains, cities, food culture, and sustainability ethos. I also write on Japan, parenting, tech, insurance, and finance.
